English Bulldog Puppies Stolen

It sounds like the theme of a disney movie, but with a much darker ending.
On Nov. 19, at 1:40 a.m. two unknown suspects forced open the front door of a house on Robilee Drive in Reno Nevada, and made their way straight to the kennel in the front room where the homeowner was caring for their English bulldog’s litter of puppies.
The suspects grabbed two of the puppies, valued at $1800 each, from the kennel and ran out the door to their awaiting vehicle parked outside on the street.
Horrified, the homeowners and the mother English bulldog chased after them. The suspects jumped into their SUV and fled with the puppies, running over and KILLING the mother bulldog as well as hitting one of the homeowners.
The puppies had been listed for sale in the classifieds for approximately three weeks, it’s possible the suspects had seen the ad and then made plans to steal the puppies.
The suspects are described as men between 5′8″ to 5′10″and wearing heavy coats. They were last seen driving a small dark red or possibly maroon SUV, Dellavella said.
Anyone with information relative to this case is encouraged to contact the Reno Police Department, Burglary Unit at 334-2115 or Secret Witness at 322-4900.
